Texas-raised Mandy Amano became "the face that launched 1,000 websites" after her Pepsi commercial premiered during the Super Bowl. This led to appearances in Maxim, countless online magazines, blogs, and comic books - most notably Shi and RoninHood.

A genre girl at heart, some of her favorite roles have been starring as "O", the ultimate modern femme fatale, in the neo-noir thriller Proxy Kill; the fierce and fiery fighter pilot "Oujo" in Squadron; and "Thalia", the little but lethal Black Ops vampire, in Blood Soldiers.

She landed a dream role when Steven Ayromlooi cast her as "The Princess" opposite the mighty Evan Parke in the film festival/comic con phenom The Sun Devil and The Princess, which racked up a show-stopping 20 awards - including 2 Best Actress wins for her portrayal of the strong, yet ethereal princess.

Described as "Audrey Hepburn... who could kick your ass" by Shi creator Billy Tucci, Mandy relished playing “Abigail,” the whimsical courtesan who also happens to be a deadly gunslinger, in the upcoming Western Horror flick, Silent Thunder with TV veteran Ted McGinley.

Amano is deeply honored to have also been cast in 2-time Golden Globe, 5-time Emmy Award nominee and legendary Broadway director Robert Allan Ackerman’s special reading of the theatrical play-turned-screenplay God Looked Away, sharing the stage with the iconic Al Pacino as his heartbreaking “Rose”.

And her dream is to be Princess Leia when she grows up.
